Carlos Sainz is an excellent driver with some improvements to make. 





Consistency

The best of his abilities is consistency, his consistency in the 2021 season helped him beat Charles Leclerc in the points table. That was one of the best season in Formula 1. 

Wets 
He is a really good driver when it comes to the wet-weather race. He is one of the best no doubt. His performances in the wets are undoubtedly appreciable. In the 2021 Turkish GP, he started the race from the back of the grid and finished in eighth place with some good overtakes. 

Race Pace

When it comes to race pace he has been good but in 2022 he lost confidence in the car and was really not that good. Apart from the 2022 season, his race pace has been excellent.

Qualifying

Although he wasn't really as good as Charles Leclerc in the race, but he was close in qualifying. He took the pole in COTA fighting with Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen. He put in a really good lap without any mistakes.

Tyre Management
 
Tyre management has been his strength. He has the ability to not lose extra time while managing the tyres. He has some exceptional performances when it comes to tyre management.
