Red bull looks strong but not unbeatable.

The main talking point of the 2023 season testing was who can beat the Red bull. Red bull did all of its programs in just one day. This looks promising given the struggles of Ferrari and Mercedes.

But are they beatable?


Of course, they are beatable because the season doesn't just end here in Bahrain. Ferrari seemed to have lots of pace when they put everything together. Ferrari has only one issue its tire wear. If Ferrari could solve it before the race, they are favorites to win the Bahrain GP. Mercedes is always hiding the potential of their car, but they don't look so confident. Sainz said that Ferrari is mainly focusing on the race pace of the car. This is a clear indication that they know they are pretty quick. when it comes to qualifying. Ferrari has a raw pace in its SF-23, but tires degrade so early compared to that of Red bull and Aston Martin. Ferrari did race simulations at the time of the race with Charles Leclerc. And it is clear that at low temperatures Ferrari performs much better than at high temperatures.

Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen the two-time world champion is very likely to defend his title given the pace of his car. RB19 looked stable and planted when Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen were pushing quite a bit. Max Verstappen said that they are in good shape and are confident about the start of the season. Max Verstappen liked the car from the shakedown at Silverstone. Every time he drove the car, he was pushing it because of the stability of the car.

Charles Leclerc

Charles Leclerc seemed quite a bit frustrated due to the high degradation of his SF-23. But Charles himself admitted that they are not focusing on lap times, and they are doing extreme setup tests to find the sweet spot of the car because there is potential yet to be extracted from the SF-23. Charles Leclerc hopes that this is the year he can achieve his life goal of becoming the world champion. His skills are more than just enough to become the world champion, but the incompetence of his team lets him down. Hopefully for Charles that his team can be more competent this year and the title fight goes till the end of the season.
