Mclaren Car Launch

Mclaren launched its 2023 challenger on 13th February the same day as Aston Martin and just a day before Ferrari's car launch.

Car

The name of their new 2023 challenger is MCL60. The livery is almost the same as last year with minimal changes. The car itself looks very different from its predecessor. The nose is changed, side pods are changed, and a few changes in the suspension are as well. The side pods from above look very similar to last year's Ferrari. And the inlet is the same as Red bull.  The side pods look very similar to that of Red bull overall.

Optimism

Andrea Stella the new team boss of Mclaren after the departure of Andreas Seidl is not a lot optimistic about its new car. He clearly said that they have to be realistic and they might not be the best of the rest at the start of the 2023 formula 1 season. He added that the upgrades may well be the turning point of their season.

Who is Stella?

Andrea Stella is an Italian engineer who recently worked for Scuderia Ferrari as a race engineer and performance engineer. Then he went to Mclaren and was promoted after the departure of Andreas Seidl.

Line-up

Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris are the current drivers of the Mclaren f1 team. Norris being at the top of his game and Piastri the rookie of the 2023 season will like to help McLaren finish 4th in the Constructor's Championship.
