PSL 2023 

PSL 2023 is underway and we got to witness the first match Between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans.

First Match

 It was a  hell of a match between the two. Lahore Qalandars opened up the game by batting first but it wasn't according to their plan, if they would have won the toss they were very likely to bowl first having Shaheen Shah Afridi as their main bowler.

Shaheen Afridi

 Shaheen Afridi is famous for taking wickets in the very first over of the match. But Multan Sultans chose to bowl first but that didn't go as planned for them. Fakhar Zaman and Tahir Baig scored good runs in the power play. But the debutant Tahir Baig couldn't help him much getting out n 32 runs. But he did his part giving a boost in the confidence of Lahore Qalandar's players. The total reached 175 which was ideal on that pitch.

Muhammad Rizwan

 Muhammad Rizwan started off really well with Shan Masood but the latter couldn't hold himself much on the pitch Rizwan scored 75 runs against the 66 of Fakhar Zaman. These 75 runs of Rizwan seemed o be the match-winner runs but after him, no one was able to stay on the pitch for a little longer. Multan Sultans was able to score only 174 runs in the chase of 176 runs. 

Result

The match resulted in the last over and Lahore won the match. It was good cricket played by both sides. Although Shaheen couldn't take wickets in his first 2 overs yet Multan Sultan wasn't able to reach the total target.
