Predictions for the 2023 Season

Surprise

I would go for Oscar Piastri, many people think that he will be crushed by Lando Norris but he has been exceptional in his junior series. I think he will outperform Lando Norris after a few races.

Champion

As for the champion, I would go for Charles Leclerc, he is hungry, motivated, and ready to be crowned as a world champion. I think if Ferrari can improve in terms of strategy, communications, and pit stops Leclerc can have the best shot at the title this year. 

Best of the Rest

I would say in terms of Team Alpine will be the best of the rest. Alpine had such a good car last year but due to reliability issues, they lost some valuable points. Especially Fernando Alonso has been let down by Alpine's reliability.


Podium Scorer

I think Esteban Ocon will often score a podium in cases of crashes at the top. If Mercedes are in the fight it is more likely to crash between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. Ocon will benefit from these crashes.

Most Consistent

I would go for George Russell as he was the most consistent driver in the 2022 season. I think he is gonna keep that trend going.

Biggest Flop

The biggest flop will be Logan, hopefully not but I don't think he will be in good shape to continue his career as a formula 1 driver.
