Red bull's new 2023 challenger was unveiled on 3 February in New York where Red bull team boss Christian Horner also declared their partnership with Ford who has second most driver titles after Ferrari. Ferrari the most prestigious brand has 15 driver titles and Ford has 13 driver titles. Who says no to Ford vs Ferrari, this rivalry in the past has been quite famous. Red bull revealed their challenger for 2023 but as per usual they didn't show the exact car. They showed their title winner and one of the most successful cars in the history of Formula 1 "RB18". When asked how much Max Verstappen is excited about the new car, he replied It's basically the same car so nothing to be excited about.
Hiding the Car
Mercedes and Red bull have always been so hideous about their car and on the other hand, Ferrari doesn't bother mind games. They show their exact car on the launch. And everybody is hoping to see their new challenger to what they call Project 675.
Leclerc Fans
Every Leclerc fan will be hoping for Leclerc to have the best shot at the title this year. Christian Horner admits that their new title challenger will be a lot different than its predecessor. Red bull will be hoping for its new car to carry on what RB18 did. But on the other hand, Lewis aiming at his eighth title, and Charles Leclerc hoping to get a car matching his unbelievable talent to secure his first title. Red bull will try to continue its winning streak and try to win both titles. But Leclerc is ambitious and believes that his team will improve and will help him achieve his life dream.
Cost Cap Penalty
Ferrari and Mercedes will try to benefit from the penalty on Red bull for breaching the cost cap. They have been given CFD and wind tunnel time less than their competitors for breaching the cost cap. According to some reports, it could cost them up to 5 tenths or so. And these 5 tenths will be on what Ferrari and Mercedes will be counting on. Ferrari wants to end its winless streak of almost 16 years. The last time they won was in 2007 with the generational talent of that time Kimi Raikkonen.
